Xiaomi Poco X3 GT Smartphone Review

Poco has released its newest smartphone, the Poco X3 GT – 5G enabled. Poco says it’s an affordable phone that has some serious flagship specs. Below is a review of the new Poco X3 GT.

The Design and Display

The Xiaomi Poco X3 GT weighs 193 grams and has a thickness of 9 mm, but don’t be scared of these dimensions, the case carries a massive 5000 mAh battery inside. The display is available on a 6.6-inch Full HD+ dot display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz with dynamic switching technology (refresh rate can be set from 30 Hz to 120 Hz depending on usage). The POCO X3 GT is also available with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, which can be found on flagships for double the price.
Although the frame is made of plastic, the device is of very high quality and comfortable to grip thanks to its curved sides. There are three color variants available for this phone, with Cloud White color and Wave Blue options having a unique wave structure on the back and Stargaze Black with a smooth, glossy finish.
On the right side of the device is the power button/fingerprint scanner and volume control. There are speakers below and above. At the bottom, there is a connection for charging and data via USB Type-C.

Poco X3 GT

The POCO X3 GT arrives with triple cameras on the back, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, a 64 MP main lens with an f/1.79 aperture, and a 2 MP macro sensor.

In terms of performance, the main camera setup is good and produces sharp, colorful photos with lots of detail and a large dynamic range. Shooting in low light is not completely silent, the POCO X3 GT can still outperform phones of the same category. While there is no telephoto lens, you can digitally zoom up to 10x. The rear camera possesses the capability to record videos in 4K.
The front camera has a 16MP lens that takes high-quality selfies with a very effective portrait mode.

Performance, Software and Battery Life

Where relevant, the 1100 chip ensures extremely smooth software operation and a great gaming experience so far. The Xiaomi phone mastered many games without any issues or crashes when tested. It is important to mention that the POCO X3 GT is accompanied by a cooling technology called POCO LiquidCool Technology 2.0, this will be of immense help if you are playing heavy games on your phone.
The 5000 mAh battery is said to have a very good life, with almost 2 days of moderate use and around 6 hours + screen time. The 67W fast charging power is also a nice addition that can be fully charged in about 42 minutes.
The POCO X3 GT is powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 1100 5G, a very powerful processor. The device is available in two different RAM and memory configurations: an 8GB/128GB version and an 8GB/256GB version.

In terms of software, the POCO X3 GT comes with Xiaomi’s MIUI 12.5 core software, which is a layer on top of Google’s Android 11. The whole software experience is clean and looks almost standard, but with more colorful icons. There are some extra apps that POCO adds by default (which can of course be removed) such as Amazon, PubG, Netflix and others.

From performance, design, display to extremely stable battery life, the POCO X3 GT is a good choice for everyone who appreciates a good price-performance ratio. Don’t sleep on this, go get the Poco X3 GT today on Banggood.
