UMIDIGI F2: Review and Price

The F2 is UMIDIGI’s latest device, and like its preceding generation it comes packed with plenty of value-for-money features. They include the OEM’s first in-display selfie camera, which is a 32MP sensor that peeks out of one upper corner of the display. There are so many mouth-watering features that this Smartphone possesses and we are going to be taking a closer look at them.

The design and display
This phone reflects much power with metal body design and glass case. It comes with a fingerprint sensor. There are only two colors for the phone; phantom blue and midnight black. Dimensions are 162.6 x 77.7 x 8.7 mm and the weight is 201 grams.

When you look at the display, you find the S-IPS capacitive touchscreen. The screen size is 6.53 inches, which is good for gaming and watching movies. Yet, the pixel resolution in the display is very good as it stands at 1080 x 2340 and the pixel density is 395 ppi. There’s also 2.5D curved screen glass and scratch-resistant for display protection. Screen to body ratio is 83.12 percent.

Hardware, Software and Performance
Inside you’ll find MediaTek’s latest Helio P70 processor, the successor to the widely acclaimed P60 chipset. It’s the same processor you’ll find on Oppo F11s and Vivo V15s, which are both respectable performers for their price range.
The chipset offers two quad-core processors clocked at 2.1GHz and 2.0GHz respectively. This chip is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage space for those who want to have the unit.

If you need more storage on your device, you can get that with the aid of a dedicated microSD card slot which takes up to 256GB n its stride. Umidigi F2 runs on the Android 10 Pie modified user interface.

Battery Life
The area where the Umidigi F2 shines the most is the battery. Standing at a massive 5150mAh, it still bundles an 18W fast charging capability with that.
This battery is promised to last up to 700 hours on standby, and it should carry through more than a day on talk time. This means with average daily use; you shouldn’t have to charge your device twice to get you through the day. You also get fast charging.

As far as the camera concerned, the device has a Four-camera setup with 48MP + 13MP + 5MP + 5MP primary sensors and a selfie camera with an 32MP lens.
