Generally speaking, most smartphone magnate just casually combined premium version device with identical internal configuration from entry-level or normal version, but HUAWEI didn’t, alternatively, they renewed the “engine” for HUAWEI P8 64G Smartphone.
What Has Changed?
While 16GB P8 comes with a standard Kirin 930 Soc, HUAWEI P8 64G runs on Hisilicon Kirin 935 Octa-core processor, as always, still the combination of 2.2GHz A53*4 +1.5GHz A53*4, along with exactly the same Mali-T628 MP4 GPU, 3GB RAM.
On the other hand, as the name states, it do comes with larger 64 ROM. Unlike other decent smartphone in same price range, which will offer 128GB ROM additionally, it appears that 64GB ROM is the premium version, but nevertheless, I reckon it is enough even for real player.
What Has Not Changed?
As I mentioned above, HUAWEI P8 64G will come with most basic configurations from 16G version, which are the same, including 5.2-inch 1080P screen with 423PPI, 8MP f/2.4 + 13MP SONY camera combination, dual 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, 2680mAh battery, etc.
Of course, surely retail price is a bit higher than we expect, but it is reasonable and rational. HUAWEI marked a price $749.99 on 64GB, which is literally $130 more than 16GB, is it a huge price difference for you? What’s your idea?
