Perhaps our first impression of Bluboo will be a typical Chinese company which specialized in big-screen and large battery smartphone, but that’s one-sided obviously as back in August, whistler-blowers once unveiled that next Bluboo phone will be a budget phone, called BLUBOO Xfire, and now, it is available for sale here on Banggood, pricing $89.99.
Now that Xfire is no more than a budget phone, presumably, basic configurations might seldom be the spot to contented with, even so, it still comes with MTK6735M 1.0GHz Quad-core processor, along with decent(in the light of low-end market) 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM.
As for display screen, which looks prim and proper at first glance, it is a golden ratio 5-inch LCD screen with IPS technology, resolution is passable, 540*960 pixels, looking OK. What’s more, camera combination is 5MP front camera and 8MP rear camera, plus a fairly large 2750mAh battery and optimized speaker.
Meanwhile, instead of KitKat, BLUBO Xfire uses the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS even though we all know that it won’t be as compatible as some high-end or top smartphone, at least it shows off sincerity. Besides, it support FDD-LTE/WCDMA/GSM network, which is quite rare among smartphone in same price range.
Last but not least, what makes me feel impressive can’t be separated with an unique appearance design, ultra-thin bezel with smooth and matte rear cover looks solid even though it is not a thin device. Combined with optional CM and MIUI, as well as smart wake gesture, seems that BLUBOO Xfire Smartphone has made itself stick out from the rest.
All in all, unlike $49.99 Doogee X5 or Oukitel U7, Xfire never is the cheapest budget phone in these days but if you are budget phone, $89.99 for this device is not a bad choice.
